Here’s what the Tried and True process looks like:

Step One:
We get to know you! Once you’ve chosen Tried and True Nannies and Sitters and signed your client agreement, we’ll use our questionnaire to learn all about what you’re looking for in a nanny.

Step Two:
Based on what we’ve learned from you, our nanny placement expert will create a custom job posting for your nanny position. We’ll send it to you for your review to make sure it has all the details you want.

Step Three:
We get to work sourcing top nanny candidates for you who suit your desired qualifications, scheduling needs, and other must-haves. We’ll contact any of the nannies we’ve already vetted who meet your criteria, in addition to advertising the job to nannies elsewhere.

Step Four:
We review every candidate and put each one through our rigorous screening process, including a background check, an interview, a reference check, and verification for their certifications.

​

Step Five:
We send you up to five candidates that fit your criteria and offer you any guidance you may need as you interview your favorite candidates. When you’ve chosen the ideal nanny, you extend them an offer and, hopefully, they say yes! At that point, we’ll have a nanny contract and non-disclosure agreement for them to sign for your privacy.

Note that all nannies hired through Tried and True Nannies and Sitters are employed directly by you, the family, as W-2 employees. Our fees are solely for our services and expenses in sourcing and screening candidates and guiding you through the hiring process; they do not include any childcare labor.
